Have you had your child’s eyes examined yet?
As an optician, mum and grandparent, I am constantly surprised that not all parents are aware that FREE sight tests are available for their children, which is why I am holding a Kid’s day here on Thursday 20th August.
Sam is our optometrist of the day and is child friendly!!
There will be activities with prizes and everyone who comes in will get a goody bag,(even grown-ups!!) and be entered into our November Birthday Prize draw for an I pad Mini!
We have an extended frame range available for you and your kids to view on that day and will also have Kids Raybans, with 20% discount on all sunglasses, prescription or non prescription, for the kids and the kids at heart.
Most children have excellent sight and do not need to wear glasses but one in five children have undetected visual problems.
This summer, take the time to make a sight test part of your back to school routine.
Remember the earlier any problems are picked up, the sooner it can be treated, the more likely they are to have good vision.
Here at ideal eyewear we would always recommend children to get their eyes examined before they start school. They don’t need to be able to read letters or numbers on a chart, there are ways and means to test youngsters eyes, and remember:…
“Wearing glasses will not make your child’s eyes worse”
Your eyes and your kids eyes are not on a 2 for 1 offer so look after them.
