Choosing new glasses is an important decision. As one of your face’s most instantly noticiable features, your specs can be a significant style statement.
All the normal guides to eyewear say that if you have a round face you should wear square frames, or if you have a long face, wear round frames. We hear and see this all the time, but actually this is not the whole truth. These are guides NOT rules. A frame needs to fit your face AND your personality and belong to you the wearer – when you know you have found the right frame, you know. But if you don’t know, here is our rough guide to help you identify your style.
You have that amazing square jaw line. Careful with shapes that are too deep.
The loving shape, generally with a pointy chin. Great with wayfarers and deeper lens shapes
Angles, squares and some round frames are your friend. Take care though that the frame you choose does not accentuate roundness.
A gift to spectacle wearing. Almost every frame that you try on will suit you. Have fun!
You are the wild child that will wear what you want to wear. Different is good and we salute you! Go ahead and choose whatever takes your fancy. After all life is too short to wear boring glasses!
